State Collegiate Conference - This weekend gathering of college students from local churches and campus ministries is for those who desire to grow as disciples of Jesus. Mark Vance from the Salt Co. in Aimes, IA will be speaking and the band The Museum will be leading worship. There will be 14 breakout sessions on a variety of topics for you and your students, as well as a strong emphasis on students serving in the local church, so please attend with your students. Ministry Education Scholarships - Church Mutual is offering 50 scholarships totaling $250,000 for the 2017- 2018 academic year. Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time, advanced-degree religious studies program at an accredited institution with a commitment to entering the practice of full-time ministry in the United States. WAY Radio presents "An Evening with Mark Gregston" - Join author, teen parenting expert and radio host of "Parenting Today's Teens", on Saturday evening, Feb 4th at Island View Baptist Church (Hwy 17, just south of I-295) from 6:30pm-9:30pm. 5th Annual Citrus Drive - Saturday, February 11, 2017 is the 5th annual Citrus Drive, a collaboration between Feeding Northeast Florida and the Society of St. Andrew. This yearly event needs over 500 volunteers to help glean citrus fruit from neighborhood trees. Assemble a group of friends, family, or co-workers and come join us at six different locations around town. Harvesting equipment and maps of the donated citrus trees will be provided.
