HELPING ORGANIZATIONS DEVELOP A CLEARER UNDERSTANDING
OF THEIR MINISTRY CONTEXT THROUGH DEMOGRAPHIC RESEARCH

MINISTRY MAPPING

The people and places that surround us present a plethora of challenges and opportunities. We will help your organization develop a strategy to reach more people for Jesus through the consideration of a number of geographic and social factors influencing your ministry context.

CARTOGRAPHY

We use some of the most innovative mapping software and demographic data to create high resolution maps that portray a ministry context. Some types of maps we can create for you include maps depicting the ages, ethnicities, family structures, occupations, and personal habits and beliefs of a geographic area. We can also use your information to create customized maps such as maps representing the locations of your organization's members.

What Pastors are Saying

"A missionary is wise to know his context, who surrounds him and how the gospel of Christ might be most potent in those surroundings.  As pastors, churches and leaders, we are on mission for the sake of His glory and we are seeking to penetrate the darkness with His glorious light.  The gospel of Christ is unchanging, yet the methods and focus is adapting as we recognize the grace gift of the contextualization of those who live among us. The work of the JBA, via demographic profiling, has helped our Mandarin family to speak life with wisdom and conviction and, in doing so, the gospel prevails.  In fact, the demographic studies have led us to wisely offer multiple languages under our roof. It’s strategic. It’s wise. It’s helpful.  It matters greatly.  At Mandarin, we are grateful for this work and for this wisdom provided by our JBA partners!"

Pastor Mark Seagle of Mandarin Baptist Church

"The longer you live in a certain area, the more you think you know about the demographics. This may be to true at some level, but without accurate data, we all run the risk of seeking to reach and minister to people who no longer exist. The demographic information provided by the JBA goes deeper than any other that I have used prior. We discovered things about our community that surprised us and have led to shifts in strategic ministry engagement. Our mission is too vital to waste time seeking to reach the nonexistent or to ignore those right outside our doors."

Pastor David Tarkington of First Baptist Church of Orange Park

"The demographic consultation and mapping of our community is helping us to dig deep on who is around us and how to adjust our strategies and priorities accordingly. We are being driven to serious conversation and prayer so we can be more effective at communicating the love of Christ to all people. Also, our community mapping is enabling us to assist the JBA as they consider options for use of a vacant church property in our area.”

Pastor Albert Byrd of Holiday Hill Baptist Church
